Here’s what we do in the crawl space:

• Full-service crawl space cleaning
• Replace and install vapor barriers (black plastic sheeting), insulation, and heating ductwork
• Close all entry points for wild animals, securing holes underneath the floor to prevent rodents from getting inside 
• Install new flexible ductwork, upgrade to metal ductwork, or replace damaged ductwork

FRENCH DRAINS

Water is known to build up in crawl spaces, which can quickly damage a foundation. To keep the water out of this area, we will add a 5 to 6-inch trench in the wall (AKA a French drain) against the foundation and put one in the middle. 

We also use a pipe with holes and put it in the trench, covering it with river rocks so that water goes into the trench and runs to one corner of the house. We dig a hole under the ground in that corner, add a 7 to 10-gallon barrel, and install a sump pump. We connect a line to this, which takes water out of the house and straight to the gutters–keeping your home safe from water.

DRYER VENT CLEANING

Do your clothes still feel damp after going through the dryer? The chances are that you need your dryer vent cleaned. Our team will take the line apart, clean it, and reinsert it at a time that works for you.

This can get rid of any debris and dust within your dryer vents and filter, which can put an end to ineffective drying and clogged lines. In general, we recommend getting your dryer vents cleaned out once a year, depending on how often you use the dryer.
